Description
Friday 5 to Sunday 7 June from 2pm to 5.30pm and Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm
The garden of a former seventeenth-century Maurist priory has been converted into themed gardens inspired by the long history of the site.
To mark the Rendez-vous aux Jardins, the Friends of the Abbey invite you to take part in a unique visual experience: "L'Abbayescope", a new way of looking at the site. Between reflections and transparency, come and explore the site through frames, water mirrors and windows onto the past. A stroll between past and present, where the eye becomes the guide.
- Saturday 6 June at 4.30pm: Follow in the footsteps of Armand Bontemps, photographer and postcard publisher in Tuffé at the beginning of the 20th century. In a captivating lecture-projection, ethnologist Evelyne Wander retraces the itinerary of this trailblazer who immortalised the faces and landscapes of the Perche Sarthois region by bicycle. A nostalgic plunge into the visual memory of our market towns.
- Sunday 7 June at 4.30pm: concert by the Santoléa vocal ensemble - participation by the hatful
