In Berfay, a mother-daughter duo relaunch the Kilomètre 51 bar-restaurant
In Berfay, the village bar-restaurant has entered a new chapter with the arrival of Virginie and Maëlys, a mother-daughter duo whose complicity is a real strength in this project. The two managers are now putting their energy into serving a local landmark that has long been appreciated by local residents.
The establishment bears the name Kilomètre 51, a nod to local history. The choice of name refers to the former route of the 1906 Grand Prix automobile race, which passed in front of the restaurant, thus anchoring the place in the heritage of the area while affirming a new identity.
With their complementary skills and their attachment to the area, Virginie and Maëlys want to make Kilomètre 51 a warm, welcoming space open to all, capable of bringing together residents, passing workers and visitors.
Bar Restaurant open Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm and Saturday from 8am to 3pm.
