Loir-en-Vallée (Ruillé-sur-Loir / La Chapelle-Gaugain), Vancé, La Chapelle-Huon

In the morning, accompanied by our tour guides, you will discover the stained glass windows in the church at Ruillé-sur-Loir and in the chapel of the former convent of the Franciscan Sisters, Servants of Mary at La Chapelle-Gaugain. After a picnic break, the tour will continue in the Perche Sarthois region with a visit to the 20th-century stained glass windows in the astonishing church at Vancé at around 2.15pm, before finishing with a visit to the contemporary stained glass windows in the church at La Chapelle-Huon. Tour by private car. Bring your own picnic. Meeting point outside Ruillé-sur-Loir church at 10.30am. Free, in collaboration with the Pays d'art et d'histoire de la Vallée du Loir and the owners. This programme is part of the exhibition Peindre la lumière, le vitrail en Sarthe, 19e - 21e siècles, on show at the Musée Jean-Claude Boulard - Carré Plantagenêt in Le Mans until 31 October 2026.
