Circuit n°3 Escapade in Perche Sarthois

Your day begins with a welcome at Semur-Vallon station, built by the association’s volunteers. The train will take you to the Muséotrain, the heart of the visit, where you’ll discover the history of the train in the 20th century and the world of Paul Decauville. You’ll then discover the fabulous Château de Courtanvaux, nestled in the heart of a magnificent estate. Finish the day in the company of our local producers at the Cidrerie Pelletier or the Ferme de Deux Sabots with its many animals.

Museotrain of Semur-en-Vallon

Plunge into the heart of the 19th century and discover this unique site!

Aboard an old train, you’ll be taken to the Muséotrain, the heart of this visit, where reconstructions and scenes make up a modern and fun scenography, all accompanied by sound and visual effects for total immersion!

Guided tour Courtanvaux Castle

Accompanied by guide Tiphaine, visit the interior of the splendid Château de Courtanvaux, a landmark of the Perche Sarthois region, built between the 15th and 19th centuries.

Its landscape and architectural interest have earned it the status of Historic Site and Monument.

Visit and tasting Cidrerie Pelletier

Option A

This family-run business will show you its expertise in the production of cider, an emblematic beverage of the 19th century!

The day ends with a tasting of the company’s products, accompanied by mignardises.

Visit to the farm Ferme des Deux Sabots

Option B

Come and discover this dairy farm with its 250 cows, numerous calves, two horses, a donkey and a farmyard!
