The small town of Bessé-sur-Braye is well known for its Courtanvaux estate and its industrial history, but it also boasts a variety of housing reflecting the diversity of the population from the end of the Ancien Régime to the 20th century. This tour, with commentary by a guide-lecturer, will give you an overview of modest housing, the homes of craftsmen or workers, and middle-class houses.
