Saint-Gervais-de-Vic is probably very old. The name "Vic", from the Latin vicus, meaning village, could refer to the Gallo-Roman period. Iron slag and pottery shards, found during work on the railway line, are also evidence of an ancient presence.
Admire the 15th and 16th century Béchuère manor house, the Redonne stream and the beautiful hedged farmland.
