  • Tresson has a very long history of settlement, as evidenced by a dolmen located not far from Basses Poches. In addition, the Via Turniacensis runs through the Tresson area, near which a large agricultural estate was recorded in 572. This villa was donated by Bishop Domnole to the Abbey of Saint-Vincent, which established a priory at Tresson. This combination of factors led to the development of the present-day village in the Etangsort valley.
