Dedicated to an Irish princess who became a hermit in Brittany in the 7th century, the church was extensively restored around 1540 and boasts a beautiful Renaissance porch with antique-style decoration. By restoring the interior of the building themselves, the local people have revived the tradition of the fabrique, an assembly of parishioners responsible for the upkeep of the building under the Ancien Régime. In 1841, the land was mainly farmed by means of bordages, small farms sometimes grouped into hamlets such as La Chauvière, and rare large farms such as Rateau or La Métairie.
