Cruda is a funny and liberating look back at a young gymnast's years of training.
Despite all her efforts, nobody remembers her: although she was gifted, her body didn't fit into any of the boxes... Never mind!
With acrobatics and twists, she tells us all about her shameful passion for food, her obsession with shaping her body, and the hardships she inflicted on herself to be more beautiful, more slender, more everything!
And it's as liberating for her as it is for us!
Cruda reflects on what goes on behind the scenes of competitions, the loneliness of the athlete faced with the diktat of appearance, and how to break free!
