In the heart of a vast wooded park, the Château de Courtanvaux offers a timeless interlude where history, heritage and nature meet.

The Château de Courtanvaux is an exceptional place where history comes to life. A true jewel of our heritage, it bears witness to the prestigious heritage of the de Montesquiou-Fezensac family, ancestors of the legendary d'Artagnan, and invites visitors to plunge into a past that is as rich as it is captivating. The grounds, both peaceful and majestic, offer a green setting in which to stroll and relax, with shady paths and remarkable views of the château. Inside, the refined salons, imbued with the elegance of a bygone era, transport visitors to the heart of a fascinating history. A must-see site in the region, the Château de Courtanvaux will appeal to lovers of authenticity, heritage and historical discoveries. Free access to the park, except for exceptional closures. Individuals can visit the interior of the château from 1 May to 30 September, every day except Mondays and days of exceptional closure, and only as part of a guided tour. The castle is not open to the public. Guided tours depart from the main courtyard at set times: - In May, Tuesday to Sunday at 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm - In June, Tuesday to Friday at 3.30pm and Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm - July and August, Tuesday to Sunday at 11am, 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm - In September, Tuesday to Friday at 3.30pm and Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm Art exhibitions in season (July and August). Numerous events throughout the year.
