Domaine de Pescheray emotion in the heart of unspoilt nature

You’ll discover mammals and birds native to Europe, as well as species from other parts of the world. You’ll get up close to some animals in semi-liberty, in vast immersion enclosures.

Follow Pescheray’s trails and you’ll go from amazement to the desire to protect our biodiversity while having fun!

Meeting the 500 park animals

The Domaine de Pescheray is fully in line with the logic of today’s zoological parks, fulfilling four essential missions: species conservation, education with educational workshops and guided tours, research and entertainment. Discover the entire animal collection (bears, wolves…) in a natural, wooded setting.

In the heart of 90 hectares of unspoilt nature, you’ll come face to face with almost 500 animals of 100 different species!

You’ll cover almost 4 km of forest trails to discover or rediscover the beauty of nature in this veritable theater of life!

Because the exchange of views between man and animal encourages awareness and the desire to protect the environment, the park has created immersion areas where animals can evolve in semi-liberty in contact with visitors. All it takes is a little patience and a great deal of respect to approach, feel and experience special moments with animals from the four corners of the planet.

Opposite the zoo, discover the seigniorial estate!

The lesser-known part of the site is a seigniorial estate built from the 16th century onwards, and constantly enlarged and remodeled over the years. The estate includes a château, the parts of which are still visible today and were built between the 16th and 19th centuries. It is surrounded by numerous buildings, including a 16th-century gatehouse and monumental dovecote, a huge barn, a former orangery, a neo-Gothic chapel and a 19th-century factory.

Free access all year round.

La cité de Pescheray carries out its missions thanks to the actions of a team of 40 employees.
